Duplicating an e-course helps you save time by using an existing course as a starting point for a new one. When creating a duplicate, you can choose which parts of the course you want to copy, such as course data, content, users, notifications, and additional course material. This gives you the flexibility to reuse only what you need while avoiding the need to build the course from scratch.
To duplicate an e-course, follow these steps:
Go to the Course Management tab and select Course Management from the sidebar.
2. Locate the course you wish to duplicate, use the search bar if necessary.
3. Click on the setting icon and then click the Duplicate button.
4. Configure the duplication settings:
In the Duplicate pop-up window, enter a new Course title for your new course and check the boxes for the elements you want to duplicate.
Duplicate data – Copies the general course data and settings, such as the course title, description, duration, and other general course information.
Duplicate content – Includes the learning content from the original e-course.
Duplicate users – Adds the users who are currently assigned or enrolled in the original e-course.
Duplicate notifications – Keeps the notification settings connected to the e-course.
Duplicate additional course material – Copies any additional materials attached to the course.
After selecting the elements you want to copy, click the Duplicate button.
5. Wait a few moments until you receive a notification that the course has been successfully duplicated. The duplicated version of the e-course will then appear in the course list, where you can continue editing it if needed.
