When creating new content we here at Smart ARENA suggest using the Content development process. This is a systematic approach to creating e-learning materials, covering five key stages: gathering materials, defining goals and target audience, organizing content, developing multimedia materials, and deploying the final content for publishing. This ensures that e-learning content is well-structured, purposeful, and ready for effective delivery to learners.
The process of content creation starts with the Content details page, which is the first step of creating new content. You can create new content under the Content management by clicking Create content. The content details page will open, where you can enter all the details about the content.
In Smart ARENA, learning materials can be organized into an e-course for a group of users. The material acts as a workbook that contains all the essential knowledge learners need to acquire. Assessment serves as an optional knowledge check, requiring learners to answer a certain percentage of questions correctly to demonstrate their understanding. Upon meeting all completion criteria, learners receive a certificate for the e-course.
It’s important to distinguish between e-content and an e-course: e-content includes all materials prepared for the course, while an e-course is the organized version ready for learners. Smart ARENA provides separate tools for creating materials, assessments, and certificates, all accessible from the content card in the content overview.
Tools for content creation
Creating new content in Smart Arena is a simple and streamlined process that enables administrators to add valuable learning materials to the platform. Follow these steps to get started:
Navigate to Content Management
In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Content Management and select Content Overview.
Click “+ Create Content”
On the Content Overview page, locate and click the + Create Content button to begin the content creation process.
Fill in the basic information. See content detail page.
Authoring tool
Once you have created the content, you can add the study material, assessment, and certification.

Assessment: This is where the Assessment of training can be entered. Here you can create and design questions for the users to answer after completing the course. See assessments.
