Course reporting provides detailed insights into learners' progress, engagement, and performance across various live courses. By analyzing metrics such as enrollment, attendance, course completion, average scores, and time spent on each course, administrators can assess training programs' effectiveness, identify learning gaps, and make data-driven decisions to improve future training initiatives. Additionally, live course reporting helps monitor user activity, managing and tracking attendance and overall progress toward organizational learning goals.
How to find a course
You can filter data by specifying a date range using the From and To fields. After selecting the dates, click the Show button to display the relevant courses. You can also use the search bar to find a specific course.
Export Options: Reports can be exported in the following formats:
XLS
CSV
PDF
The file with all filtered courses and their data will be downloaded right away in the format of your choosing.
If you want to download a report for one specific course, you can do so with the user information. Click on its title, and export it with a blue export button under the Users section. First, a link will be sent to your email to retrieve the file, then you will also receive the link in the notifications tab in Smart Arena.
Course Statistics Table
The table displays the following columns and information:
Course Title: The name of the course.
Enrolled: Total number of users enrolled in the course.
Started: Number of users who have started the course.
Completed: Number of users who have completed the course.
Avg Progress: The average progress percentage of enrolled users.
Avg Score: The average score achieved by users.
Total Time: Total time spent by users on the course.
Avg Time on Course: Average time spent by users on the course.
Actions: Includes additional options for further statistics and downloads.
To navigate the course reporting table effectively, start by reviewing the Course Title column to identify the specific training you wish to analyze. Use the Enrolled column to see the number of users that the course is available to, and the Started column to assess initial engagement levels. For example, if 6 users are enrolled in a course, but none have started, it may indicate a need to promote the course.
Check the completed column to track how many learners finished the course and the average progress to measure their overall advancement. The average score provides insight into learners' success in the assessment at the end of the course, while the total time and average time spent on the course help evaluate user dedication and content engagement.
For instance, a course showing low average time and no completions might need adjustments to its delivery or content to boost effectiveness.
Additional Statistics
Below the table, the Top Courses section displays additional metrics:
Most Enrolled: Courses with the highest enrollment.
Most Completed: Courses with the highest completion rates.
Most Avg Time Per User: Courses with the highest average time spent.
Most Wishlisted: Courses added to wishlists (if applicable).
